Dr. Aretha Aprilia is currently working at CDM Smith as Renewable Energy Specialist for MCA-Indonesia’s off-grid renewable energy projects oversight. She has prior experiences working for the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Bangkok and was awarded with the ‘Certificate of Appreciation for Outstanding Performance’ by UNEP Regional Director. She holds a PhD degree in Energy Science from Kyoto University Japan with fellowship from Schlumberger Foundation, and MSc in Urban Environmental Management from Wageningen University the Netherlands with full scholarship from Nuffic Fellowship Programme. She is the recipient of the international ‘Green Talents award 2017’ by the German Ministry of Education and Research in Berlin Germany in October 2017, and awardee of the ’50 Most Impactful Green Leaders award’ in Mumbai India in February 2017.

Benny is actively developing hydro, solar hybrid and waste management projects in Indonesia for Infunde Development. Infunde Development is a project development services company working in five countries in Southeast Asia: Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and the Philippines. Infunde Development – with its team of experienced individuals with backgrounds from Poyry, Sumitomo, GDF Suez, Worley Parsons, etc – co-develops projects with local / international partners and conducts pre-financial close project development, including but not limited to feasibility studies, ESIAs, PPA structuring & negotiations, EPC management and financial structuring. Infunde Development is the exclusive development service provider for InfraCo Asia. InfraCo Asia funds early-stage, high-risk infrastructure project development activities, with the aim of attracting private sector investment to these projects to achieve financial close.

Benny has completed early stage development of solar power projects in Bangladesh as well as for small and large hydropower projects in Indonesia, for a power developer listed in Euronext, Paris. He holds a Bachelor of Business Management from Singapore Management University.

Dharma Djojonegoro is the Deputy CEO for Adaro Power. Adaro Power has gross interests in 2260 MW of power generation capacity in Indonesia, and is part of Adaro group, which is one of the largest and most profitable energy company in Indonesia. Dharma is also the Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian Coal Mining Association, and also the Head of the Permanent Committee on Electricity in the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce. Previously, Dharma has held various senior positions in investment and mining in Indonesia, including the CEO of a mining services firm and Commissioner in an oil drilling company. Before that Dharma was with McKinsey, where he had a dual focus on the natural resources sector and operational improvement. Dharma holds an MBA degree from INSEAD and a BSc (summa cum laude) in Finance & Marketing from University of Oregon


Daniel Mallo

Daniel is responsible for Société Générale’s Energy, Infrastructure and Metals & Mining practice in Asia Pacific. The team’s activities include conventional and renewable power, oil & gas, LNG, base and precious metals, transportation and social infrastructure. He is based in Hong Kong. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director in Société Générale’s New York-based Energy Project Finance Group, where he was responsible for originating and executing transactions in the conventional power, renewable energy, LNG and oil & gas sectors in the United States, Canada and Latin America. Daniel has over 18 years of experience in structured finance and has focused on the Energy and Natural Resources sectors for the past 15 years.

Daniel has been involved in several important transactions in the energy sector in Indonesia, including the 180 MW Asahan 1 hydro power project, the 320 MW Sarulla geothermal project, the LNG train 3 expansion and the 39 MW Hasang hydro power project. 

Daniel graduated from Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in Paris. 


Dario Mulazzani

Dario earned his Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2012 and started his career working as Mechanical Designer for different companies with a focus on R&D projects. Among these he personally developed the whole design process for a low wind speed, low rotational speed, low noise, and lightweight vertical axis wind turbine. He joined EXERGY in 2013 as Proposal Engineer and Technical Sales gaining an in-depth understanding and expertise of the Organic Rankine Cycle technology and market for geothermal application. In EXERGY he had experience both in sales activities and ORC plant mechanical and process design. Based in Kuala Lumpur from 2016 he now  holds the position of Sales Manager for Asia and Far East dealing with new market opportunities for EXERGY in this region.


Ereneus Bawa Santosa

Presently, his role is an Executive Director for Indonesia Renewable Energy Society (IRES / METI - Masyarakat Energi Terbarukan Indonesia).
He was graduated in Geological Engineering and post graduated from Business School with major in Strategic Business.

He started his career in Oil & Gas and Drilling Services and followed by Geothermal industries from 1989 to 2002. And then he was expose him self with sales and maerketing role as well as business development for many kind of power generation.

He has multiple working experiences with multinational companies such as : Indokor Baroid – Sperry Sun, UNOCAL Geothermal (then acquisitioned by CHEVRON Geothermal), HYUNDAI HHI Co. Ltd, General Electric (GE – Energy) and SIEMENS.

He then joined with MEDCO Power Indonesia as VP of Business Development, where he helped to built corporate strategy and preparing for the long terms business plan by monetizing the natural gas asset belong to MEDCO Energy in domestic and global business as well as taking responsible for IPP new investment for “Thermal” and “Renewables” Power Project.

He has several years of experiences as Independent Business Consultant in the areas of Energy and Power Business with more focus on Renewable Energy.
He also involved in several proffessional organization such as : Indonesia Geothermal Association (API-INAGA), Indonesian Electrical Power Society (Masyarakat Ketenagalistrikan Indonesia - MKI), Masyarakat Konservasi and Efisensi Energi Indonesia (MASKEEI).


Dr. Geoffrey James

Dr Geoff James is consultant in clean energy and is respected as a thought leader following over 25 years of multidisciplinary research with government and private-sector clients.  His research and consulting interests include integrating renewable energy in power systems, distribution network evolution, international clean energy trade, energy market development in Asia, and energy storage technology and applications.

Geoff received his PhD in Physics (radioastronomy) in 1991 at the University of Tasmania.  He then joined CSIRO and until 2002 worked on research and commercial projects in radio antenna engineering, particular satellite communications.  Joining a team working on distributed systems with embedded intelligence, Geoff began to research distributed energy at the very time that “smart grid” came into the language, specializing in energy storage.  In 2013 Geoff left CSIRO to consult privately, and he spent 2014 with Reposit Power to help commercialise residential energy storage in the Australian market.  In 2016 he joined the Institute for Sustainable Futures at UTS as a Research Principal, where multi-disciplinary teams work on high-impact client projects to create change.  In 2017 he co-founded Pilbara Solar to help Australia’s solar power industry to look outwards and become our next major export opportunity.

His personal goal is to speed regional progress towards clean electrification through a balanced mix of local energy systems and international clean energy trading.


Harold Tjiptadjaja

Harold Tjiptadjaja joined IIF in 2011 as Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer. Currently, Harold manages IIF’s loan and equity portfolio of IIF amounting more than USD 500 million, across different sectors, e.g. power, oil & gas, telecommunication, toll road, seaport, and airport. Leading the team of 20+ investment professionals, Harold is responsible for business development and portfolio management within IIF. Prior to joining IIF, Harold was Vice President at Earth Investment Group (2010 – 2011) and Corporate Finance Partner of Indoconsult Prima (2009 – 2011) after working with Sinarmas Group (2007 – 2008) and Northstar (2006). Prior to working in Indonesia, Harold spent more than 12 years working experience in the Netherlands, among others with PwC, KPMG and Indover Bank. Harold obtained a Master of Science degree in Financial Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands in 1997.


Hendrik R. Bohne

Mr. Bohne is currently leading the main business unit for regional solar market leader Conergy, where he is in charge of the EPC business unit. The EPC activities of the Group centre within Asia-Pacific and includes the company’s core market’s SEA, Australia and Japan focusing on grid-connected power plants and hybrid systems. Currently based in the regional headquarter in Singapore the responsibilities cover origination and delivery of the project to commercial operation. As part of the diversification of the business, Mr. Bohne is part of the Steering Committee of GRIDSTOR - a global energy storage initiative from an international consortium.

Mr. Bohne has been with Conergy since 2007 in its offices in India, UAE and Singapore and has amongst other overseen the market entries for Thailand, Middle East, Japan and the Philippines. The EPC business is as of today the regional market leader in South East Asia in Solar PV. 

Mr. Bohne has an MBA in business and engineering from Germany and holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the Netherlands.


Jeffery Dickinson

Jeffery Dickinson has extensive experience in the application of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies and the related packaging of private and public sector projects. He has worked for over 25 years with clean energy companies and finance institutions throughout the Asia region. Direct project development and financing experience includes hydropower, biogas, biomass, solar, as well as the manufacturing of clean energy products.  On the ground working experience includes project management and capacity building with public sector agencies, banks, energy companies, and local communities.  Mr. Dickinson is currently working with CDM Smith in Indonesia as the Renewable Energy Lead for Millennium Challenge Account – Indonesia’s Green Prosperity Project.


Kim Min Ho

Minho is the currently working for Tanggamus Hydro Power Poject Construction from 2015 as Project Manager. His team activities is included to manage & control the quality, cost and schedule including fullfillment of environmental and safety requirements. Minho was also involved in financing phase from 2012 as “project developer” at Korea Midland Power Company. He has the unexceptional experience from financing and construction completion on same project. Minho has over 21 years of experience in power sector such domestic mega gas combined and coal power as owner’s project manager for the past 7 years and overseas hydro, photoboltaic and windfam renewable energy developing and investment for the past 13 years.
Minho has been involved in several important power project such as Yangyang pumped storage power(1,000MW), Boryeong coal fired thermal power(1,000MW) in Korea and Namtheun-1(400MW) in Laos, LSG(496MW) hydro in Pakistan, Wampu(45MW) and Tanggams(56MW) hydro in Indonesia.

Minho has graduated the Yonsei unversity in civel engineering and also have the master degree in Sogang university MBA in Seoul.


Lim Chin Chan

ChinChan Lim has over 10 years of working experience and has been in private equity since 2007. Prior to joining ACP, Mr. Lim was Vice President & Head of Execution of Mizuho AsiaInfra Capital (“MAIC”), an infrastructure fund manager sponsored by Mizuho Bank where he led the firm’s investment execution efforts targeting various infrastructure subsectors in Asia. Being a pioneer member of MAIC, he was instrumental in developing the firm’s investment processes during its inception in late 2014. Prior to MAIC, Mr. Lim was with the Asian Infrastructure Team in J.P. Morgan Asset Management – Global Real Assets, managing c. USD1.5 billion under the Asia Infrastructure & Related Resources Opportunity Fund (“JPM AIRRO”). At JPM AIRRO, he was responsible for covering private equity investments in Southeast Asia including transactions in energy, renewables and resources. Mr. Lim was also previously with CapAsia, a Non-BRIC Emerging Asia infrastructure private equity firm with c. USD250-300 million under management. In CapAsia, Mr. Lim focused on investments in Southeast & Central Asia across diverse sectors such as power, transportation, education, renewables, healthcare and telecoms. Mr. Lim holds a BEng in Electronic and Communications Engineering from the University of Bristol and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.


Philip Cecil Rickard

Mr Rickard was appointed as the Group’s Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director on 10 March 2015. He is a global entrepreneur with more than 26 years of experience in the energy and mining industry, and has repeatedly produced sustained revenue and EBITA growth in dynamic and changing markets. Mr Rickard is currently Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Group, where he is responsible for overseeing the overall strategic directions and expansion plans for the growth and development of the Group, as well as for the development of its coal mines in Sumatra.
 
Prior to joining the BlackGold Group in November 2011, Mr Rickard was the country manager (Indonesia) for the Norsk Hydro Group from January 2009. He is the founder of several successful resource and mining ventures, including Terrasys Energy Pte. Ltd., Sawa Energy, and Indo Gold Mining Pte. Ltd. In these ventures, Mr Rickard led significant acquisitions, capital raisings and mining expansions, and demonstrated an acute ability to formulate strategic vision and advance expansion plans, developing mines and investments for various large resource companies.

Mr Rickard also serves as the President Commissioner of PT Samantaka Batubara, a subsidiary of the Group.

He is currently the President of the Association of Catalist Companies in Singapore Stock Exchange.

Mr Rickard graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Philosophy) from Gonzaga University in 1992.


Dr. Ir. Rachmat Mardiana

Rachmat Mardiana is Director of Energy, Telecommunications and Informatics, the Indonesian Development Planning Agency (Bappenas). Mr. Mardiana has a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology, an MA in Economics from the Boston University in the USA and his PhD in Financial Management from the University of Indonesia in Indonesia. His areas of expertise include macroeconomics, finance, public-private partnerships, electricity and telecommunications.


Soeripno Martosaputro

Mr. Soeripno is currently the Chairman of Indonesia Wind Energy Association (IWEA). He is a teaching lecturer at the University of Dharma Persada; also serves as independent consultant specialized in wind data resource assessment and monitoring. Mr. Soeripno is the EPC contractor for PT Karya Perkasa Sakti and PT Prisma Nautika Nusantara. He is also the Vice President Technology for PT Citrakaton Dwitama. Mr. Soeripno holds a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Sebelas maret University of Indonesia and obtained his Technical Magister degree on Energy Conversion from Pancasila University Indonesia in 2008


Windhu Hidranto Soedjono

Windhu Hidranto Soedjono is trained as an engineer, with over 20 years of experience in Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) and Private Sector Participation (PSP) in the development of urban infrastructure. He has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration (majoring in development studies) from the American University at Washington, D.C., and has designed and implemented numerous business development plans and capacity building programs, both in Indonesia and overseas, for various Ministries and regional governments. As a former public servant, he has extensive experience in the workings of government projects and their organizational mechanism, funded by both government and donor funding. In the private sector, he also has extensive experience in the generation of funding for projects, especially as Senior Advisor to the development of projects/investment for various local governments. In his role as Transaction Advisor , he has been asked to assist several private investors in setting up the most appropriate scheme of PPPs, to “breakthrough” the financing challenges being faced in the development of infrastructure in Indonesia
